Cancellation Policy

At Calcutta Gujarati Samaj, we aim to provide a transparent and fair process for all members and visitors. We understand that plans may change, and this Cancellation Policy explains how such situations are handled.

Member-Initiated Cancellations

Registrations or bookings cancelled 48 hours or more before the scheduled date are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled date will attract a cancellation charge of 50% of the total amount paid.
Failure to attend without prior cancellation will be treated as a no-show and will be non-refundable.

Cancellation by Management

      In rare circumstances where the Samaj needs to cancel an event, service, or confirmed registration due to administrative, technical, or unforeseen reasons, members will be offered a 100% refund or the option to reschedule without any additional cost.
    

Special & Promotional Registrations

Registrations made under special schemes, festival events, or discounted charges may be classified as Non-Refundable. Such terms will be clearly mentioned at the time of registration.

Refund Processing

All approved refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment.
Refunds generally reflect within 7 to 10 business days, depending on the bank or payment gateway.
Any applicable transaction or bank charges will be deducted from the refundable amount.
